Design
At Stretch Dancewear we realise that you do not always want to buy costumes off the shelf, but would like to be able to purchase dancewear that is unique and individual to your dance school, gym club, majorette troupe, etc.
This is why we are happy for you to design your own costumes to suit your needs. There is no minimum order for this service.
With that in mind, all we require from you is a design (a rough sketch is fine) showing front and rear view of garment and your colour choice and any accessories you may require - headband, scrunchie, gloves etc. From this we will be able to achieve the costumes that you are looking for.
Whether you submit your own designs or draw upon our experience and knowledge we will create costumes unique to you.
Because we take such pride in our service we only work with the finest Italian Lycra which comes in a variety of colours. You can choose from plain, velour, patterned and sparkle designs. We know from experience that not all costumes suit Lycra and therefore we are also able to offer a variety of alternative fabrics and will gladly discuss this with you. Please do not hesitate to contact us with your queries.
Show Time – Our Speciality
We are able to supply both individual and large quantities of costumes.
We will require a deposit for large orders and would be happy to discuss this with you.
To help with sizing we can issue you with a set of sample leotards, sizes range from 000-XL (for this a refundable deposit of £30 is required).
We have a sizing chart available for you to record your pupils names and measurements. Teachers find this very helpful when ordering for large groups for which there are assorted sizes. Please request this when arranging your show.
When planning shows, please contact us as early as possible so that between us we can achieve the best possible show with the least amount of stress.
Festival or Competition
How about designing your own individual costume?! We can take your ideas and develop them into the costume of your dreams that will make you stand out in the crowd.
Uniform
For your uniforms we can offer a range of ongoing stock colours to any design of your choice. We do not have set styles, only suggestions,which you can adapt to suit your school or club. While designing, why not match it with a scrunchie to finish your look?
Payment
We accept Cash, Cheques (made payable to Stretch Dancewear), BACS, Card payments by telephone and also PayPal. Payment will be required before despatch.
Postage & Packing
All custom design items are sent via 1st Class Royal Mail and we will charge you only the actual cost. For items needed in a hurry or too large for 1st Class then we do offer a courier service. Please phone for details.
Brochure
Our brochure can be viewed online, you can download or request a copy in the post. The brochure includes swatches of our plain Lycras. Regarding Sparkle/Pattern Lycras there is a vast range to choose from which regularly changes as new patterns become available.
So if there is a particular colour combination you are looking for please contact us and we will send you the most current available swatches.
